What good is a day gone by. What good is a day that has no start or end, no thought to bend. What good is a day that has no goal, no objective, and no... Girls. What good is a day gone by with no accomplishment. What good is a day that has no fear or sadness. What good. What good is a day on which you say, "I have failed". What good is a day to which comes and goes with no purpose. What good is a day with no night, with no love, and where you put up no fight. What good is a day that you do not feel change. What good is a day where you try to make change but are shot down at every turn. What good is a day that not one person can change. What good is a day that makes no start, that makes no line on the painting of history. What good is a day that has no follow, nothing to look forward on, to give you nothing to look back on. What good is a day on which you create nothing to share the past, or tell the present, or make the future. What good is a day full of nothing. What good is a day...
Writers Note-This is the first prompt I have done myself, I don't know what to think of it so... yea... Thanks for reading and please post some comments on what you think of it.
Cool idea for a prompt. I love your attitude. Let's make every day count instead of measuring life as a whole only.
ReplyDeleteThis is something I've been struggling with. (No, not making every day count...) I'm talking about the format. This is repetitive. Which isn't necessarily bad. This is what we've done with the Direct Orders and I'm Thinking About You. The repetition can create a sort of rhythm. But the risk is doing it too much. I'm not saying you did that here, but maybe. Perhaps some could be expanded on more as a way of breaking it up.
(Sorry for rambling.)
I like this. alot! it sounds like you gave alot of thought in it! What good is a day where you try to make change but are shot down at every turn. I like this line becasue it does happen everyday. And i can totally relate! so yeah i like it alot great job!!
